Khari J. Sampson is copy editor for the GPB News and co-writer and co-editor of the Georgia Today newsletters. He comes from a long career in newspaper copy editing and pagination, working at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gwinnett Daily Post and Marietta Daily Journal. Khari is a proud graduate of Howard University and the University of Missouri’s Graduate School of Journalism — and still bleeds University of Georgia red and black. When he’s not sharpening up reporters’ prose, you might find him holding court at the local comic shop (he’s ruthless with the receipts when it comes X vs. Y debates), lording over a HeroClix table, or showcasing something from his ever-growing catalog of cosplays and props.
