Selena Gilbert, Professional Makeup Artist and Founder of FaceChemistry, the premier mobile makeup artistry company, is a make-up expert who specializes in providing flawless, radiant looks crafted by the right formula of composition, style, and application.

Selena began her collegiate career as a pre-med student at Valdosta State University. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and working as a Minority Biomedical Research Student at Albany State University, Selena began to develop a strategy to combine her scientific and artistic skills to promote her creative flair for makeup. She eventually became a freelance makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics, and later became a permanent employee of the company, honing her skills in makeup artistry. In 2007, the FaceChemistry brand was born to give clients the right formula for their individual flawless look.

Selena’s success as a sought-after makeup professional is attributed to her experience, passion, and talent. Selena’s work has been featured in TV, film, and print as a makeup professional for: Magic Johnson and the Aspire Network, Kim Fields-Morgan, Malinda Williams, Tekila Frazier in “A Cross to Bear”, Terri Vaughn-Riley in “Meet the Browns”, Victoria Stillwell in “It’s Me or the Dog”, Robin May’s talk show “Intentionally Living” and makeup artist for the Diamond Awards.

In Spring 2012, Selena served as a judge at the Georgia Skills USA – Esthetics Competition, evaluating contestants on techniques and professionalism in the field of skincare.  Recently, she worked on music videos with “Silk” and the legendary Confunkshun under the direction of Kevin Terrell of iRoK University.

Selena continues to work on various projects for an array of clients.  Currently she is the Key Make-up Artist for Cosplay Your Way and Dean’s Lyst.
