Panel designed to motivate individuals to discuss the issues, concerns and myths preventing them from embarking on the creative art of cosplay; and encourages those that do participate to be body positive and choose desired characters regardless of race, size, age or gender. The panel will motivate attendees to share their personal testimonies, discuss types of cosplay, give their views on canon vs. non-canon, “daring to be different”, and ways to expand your cosplay, “brand” and ultimately turn the hobby into a lucrative career (if desired).
